Axxess 28 are
Mobotix Registered Partners and can
advise on all aspects of the implementation
Mobotix IP camera systems for surveillance,
VoIP/SIP, industrial process use, Home use,
Banking, Public Sector and weather stations.
The MOBOTIX
IP-camera is the first and only weatherproof
network camera to date with an integrated
recorder function, video management system,
video sensors and audio. The free
scalability of the number of cameras,
storage capacity and data connections (ISDN,
DSL, Ethernet, WLAN, GSM, copper, fibre
optics) ensures system flexibility, low cost
of system expansion and safe investment
protection.

The latest
development at MOBOTIX is the Q24
hemispheric camera with the panorama
function. This camera was mounted above the
entrance to a bank and delivers a 180° view
of the room both live and in recordings. The
black floor mats at the bottom left and
right in the video demonstrate that the
entire room is really shown from wall to
wall, without any blind spots.
One single
MOBOTIX high-resolution camera can monitor
an area that would require several cameras
in conventional video systems. In the
example, the four lanes at this petrol
station are secured simultaneously by one
D22M camera, and the license plates can
still be read perfectly with digital
zooming.
Axxess 28 Ltd will always advise and assist
in ensuring that your systems and operating
procedures comply with the statutory
requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998
and recommendations of the Police and Home
Office.

Axxess 28 Ltd believe that it is essential
that when a system is established then the
image quality offered must be good enough
for the purpose intended.
Why Use
High-Resolution Systems? The higher the resolution, the more
details are in an image. Using traditional
(analogue) technology, a live image has no
more than 0.4 megapixels and a recorded
image only has 0.1 megapixels (CIF). On the
contrary, a MOBOTIX camera with 3.1
megapixels records around 30 times more
detail. As a result, larger image areas with
up to 360° panorama are possible, thus
reducing the number of cameras and therefore
the costs. For example, four lanes of a
petrol
station can be recorded using one MOBOTIX
camera instead of four conventional cameras.

The
Decentralised MOBOTIX Concept Unlike other
systems, the decentralized MOBOTIX concept
incorporates a high-speed computer and, if
necessary, a digital memory (SD card) for
long-term recording in every camera. The PC
is now used only for viewing, not for
analysis or recording. As a result, MOBOTIX
cameras can record events even without a
running PC and digitally record videos with
sound for archiving purposes.
The
Benefits MOBOTIX video
solutions therefore require significantly:
fewer
cameras due to the more accurate detail
of wide-angle images with mega-pixel
technology,
fewer
PCs/DVRs, because around 40 cameras can
store high-resolution video with sound
efficiently on a single PC, or no PC at
all when recording on the camera's
digital storage (USB, SD card),
lower
network bandwidth, because everything is
processed in the camera itself and the
high-resolution images therefore do not
have to be constantly transferred for
analysis.
Robust And
Low-Maintenance MOBOTIX
cameras do not require any lens or
positioning motors. Without any moving
parts, they are so robust that maintenance
is reduced to a minimum. The unique
temperature range from -30° to +60°C (-22°
to +140°F) is achieved without heating or
fan at only 3 watts power consumption. Since
no PC hard disk is required for recording,
there are no parts that wear out in the
entire video system.
Software
Included - For Life There are no
software or licensing costs with MOBOTIX,
because the software is always supplied
within the camera - for an unlimited number
of cameras and users. The software package
supplied with the camera also includes a
professional control centre software used at
football stadiums, for example. Updates are
supplied free of charge on the website.
